Marco and Buck Sanders scored the forthcoming Iraq war drama, The Hurt Locker. The film was directed by Kathryn Bigelow, won the SIGNIS grand prize at the Venice film festival and will be in theaters June 26th.

Marco Beltrami has signed on to score the upcoming Nicolas Cage thriller Knowing.

He also wrote the scores to the French epics Death Instinct and Public Enemy No.1 with his co-composer Marcus Trumpp.

Marco created a southern score for the bayou-based In The Electric Mist. The murder mystery stars Tommy Lee Jones, Peter Sarsgaard and John Goodman and was directed by acclaimed French filmmaker Bertrand Tavernier. Here are some photos of the recording session with Dirk Powell in Louisiana.

For their third film together, Marco wrote an action package score for the video game-based Max Payne. The film stars Mark Wahlberg and releases October 17th. The soundtrack is available on La La Land Records.

Russell Crowe, Christian Bale and Peter Fonda star in 3:10 to Yuma, a modern take on the classic western by Elmore Leonard from producing/writing/directing team Cathy Konrad and James Mangold ("Walk the Line"). Marco's score features bold melodies, textured ambience and western instrumentation.

Marco is heading to London to score James Mangold's 3:10 to Yuma. A western starring Russell Crowe and Christian Bale.

Varese Sarabande is releasing the Live Free or Die Hard CD on June 26th.
Captivity will be in theaters June 22nd.

Marco Beltrami scored the Disney thriller The Invisible, which will be in theaters January 26th, 2007.
